In the Joseon 조선 period, the royal family kept some ice in ‘Seokbinggo’ (Stone Ice Storage, 석빙고) for making ice desserts in the summer. During that time, only those in high social status could enjoy the taste of bingsu 빙수.
But now everyone can enjoy it at HanBingo!

Our Brand History
‘Mr. Kim’, a well-known food stylist and establisher of HanBingo, has more than 5 years of experience about desserts, cafes at Korea’s most famous area ‘Hongdae’ 홍대.
He brought over the best recipe from Korea to make the most tasty bingsu in Canada. He named the brand HanBingo to show that we’ll always serve the real & original bingsu to our customers.
